EA Sports College Football 2026 Main Theme Music Will Be My Arrangement!

Back in December, something BIG happened behind the scenes. Video game giant EA Sports selected the Auburn University Marching Band to record the official main theme for EA Sports College Football 2026!

Thanks to Steve Schnur (President of EA Sports Music), Torsten Staley (Feature Producer), Kris Bowers (Composer), and Nick Spezia (Recording Engineer) for trusting in the AUMB to be the first marching band to record this iconic theme for the game, and for allowing me to write the arrangement in partnership with AU Instructor of Percussion Aaron Locklear.

You’ll hear the sound of the Auburn University Marching Band playing my arrangement of the theme music every time you boot up the game.

I had the pleasure of attending and assisting with the recording sessions that the Auburn University Marching Band did live with EA Sports’ sound team in late 2024. Here they are in Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum, where the recording was made. (photo credit: Jake Evans)
