Nearly 700 Registrants for the New York State Conference Virtual Band!

I’m excited to announce that nearly 700 registrants have signed up for the New York State Field Band Conference’s Virtual Band. The Virtual Band will feature drum majors, colorguard, winds, and percussion performing Billy Joel’s New York State of Mind in video to be released later this fall.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting many of the registered performers via videoconference throughout the past week. Thanks to these wonderful students, their directors, instructional staff, and families for supporting the arts and for continuing to apply their talents in pursuit of this project!
